WS_FTP Pro's Main Screen
|
WS_FTP Pro takes
full advantage of Windows' point-and-click
capabilities. Designed for non-programmers but
sophisticated enough for power users, the
original WS_FTP is widely recognized as the
fastest, most popular FTP product on the market.
Its highly intuitive graphical user interface
includes side-by-side directory windows and
simultaneous display of directory lists for both
local and remote sites making it easy to
select and transfer files. WS_FTP's flexible
design allows you to have multiple, active FTP
sessions open, modify the size of the directory
windows, and execute multifile transfers.
|

WS_FTP Pro's Session Profile
Screen
|
WS_FTP provides a
convenient Session Profile window to automate the
process of connecting and logging on to remote
sites. The Session Profile window is displayed
superimposed on the main window upon startup. To
create an FTP connection to a remote system, you
either enter the information to create a session
profile or invoke a previously saved session
profile. The session profile tells WS_FTP the
name of the remote system, its platform or host
type, and the required login account information
including User ID and password. Save
and Delete buttons are provided to help you
manage your session profiles. Once you have
created and saved a named session profile, you
simply click on the Profile Name list box and
select the appropriate name the next time you
want to connect to a particular system.

95 and NT versions also include attractive file
maintenance options that enable you to prevent
overwriting of same or newer files and to

transfers from a remote host system.
In addition, WS_FTP Pro comes with a
